Bloom App Reviews

Very relaxing

Ahh...

Not nearly as interesting as the reviews say

Im not sure what others are doing with this app but if theyre legit then these people must also be entertained by wind chimes too. There really isnt anything terribly interesting about this app and its certainly nothing very advanced or exciting. Considering its price I was really expecting more. Grew tired of it within a few minutes. Gave it another chance later and the sane thing happened. Save your money and dont buy this one.

bore bore bore

Eno can do better

Not worth money yet. Its like an intro to something that could be somewhat useful to electronic musicians. Id like to turn off the background drones, or manipulate them myself. Also the ability to mix layers would have been easy to implement. Please update with anything of the sort.

Cool app

Very cool app, but I except to have the air play feature for the price!

Bloom

Very cool!

yes!

buy this if you love ambient, medidative sounds and colors.

Fantastic

Great for ambient sound and for creative music exploration too!

Beautiful app

Very simple and elegant music machine. Worth purchasing!

Whoa

Was disappointed for a minute, then realized Im an impatient idiot. This is an amazing app.

Awesome

There should be tons of apps like that.

Blah

Gives me a head ache after a few minutes. Dont understand the types if moods, would better appreciate names if moods that have descriptive English names.

Moods

The "moods" are various scents.

Still amazing.

Thank you for the update. This is still one of the most enjoyable music apps for iOS.

Very nice

Ear fluff...

I have always liked Brian Eno as a musician and ideas man, and I am fascinated by the recent trend in generative music programmes. The iPod/iPhone seem perfectly suited to explorations of this kind and Bloom is certainly a well crafted example. Where it falls short is in the limited voice (a kind of ethereal piano tone) available to ones fingers as you tap out your progressions on the screen; a few other sounds would make this a more satisfying toy. The moods available also lack some depth and drama. All in all, this is a relaxing experience, with its subtle pastel hues and dreamy soundscape, but without more variety of playable sounds I dont think it is particularly good value for money. The free version of RjDj offers a great deal more in entertainment value in my opinion.

No more updating?

Great product. Id really like to have the Airplay feature, though.

Crap

Only one sound to play with what a bummer...

Love it

Bloom is my second most loved app on my iPhone - and it got there fast. This is an infinite album with lovely sounds. Bloom is nice to create ambient loops, but it really shows its potential when you let it create something for you. There are moments when it evolves into real masterpieces. If you like ambient music, its worth buying - but if you like Brian Eno, you just have to have it.

Great

Highly recommended
